Why do I need to be vaccinated to enter?

It is a government requirement that all visitors over the age of 16 must be fully vaccinated, or have a medical exemption, and show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status or medical exemption as a condition of entry.

How do I prove my vaccination status/ medical exemption?

Visitors can show their vaccination status with a COVID-19 digital certificate displayed through the Service Victoria app, Medicare app, or equivalent smartphone wallet. They can also present a printed version of their certificate or immunisation history statement, or provide evidence of a medical exemption.
